Based in a quaint town in Assam surrounded by nature, preserving it is a meaningful part of our life .Every step of the way we are working hard to make sure we are limiting our footprint and creating things the right way by using as much recycled silver as possible, making limited pieces, using recycled paper for stationery, visit cards and are working on packaging, boxes made from handmade paper made from old tees.

We Create

Kresa, a demi fine jewellery label is distinguished by its minimal clean lines, architectural and geometric forms with a playful undertone. Kresa embodies striking designs for women who embrace their individual flair. The designs celebrate everyday life as the occasion.

Unique and contemporary, our designs are skillfully crafted in the finest metal, Sterling Silver, and 18 Carat Gold Vermeil set with a range of gemstones like Lemon Quartz, Amethyst, Topaz. We pay close attention to detail and a well finished product where every stone is cut and faceted specific to our design.

We Are

I am Jushmi Barooah, the founder of Kresa, and I have been a design and craft enthusiast since a young age with a house is full of artworks, products crafted by me. I studied Fashion Design at the National Institute of Fashion Design and later graduated from The Chelsea College of Art and Design, London. With experience and an exposure to global expressions of art and design, Kresa is my creative direction informed by graphic arts, architecture, poetry, experiences, and everyday objects translated into timeless jewellery. Appreciation and enthusiasm of the people I meet, is my greatest motivation.

We Support

Kresa puts 2% of sale proceeds to develop and support artisans of the North East through our handcrafted project KREO.
